  Verbs Verbs are words that describe specific actions, like running, winning, and being amazing.  Not all verbs refer to literal actions, though. Verbs that refer to feelings or states of being, like to love and to be, are known as nonaction verbs. Conversely, the verbs that do refer to literal actions are known as action verbs. Adverbs An adverb is a word that describes an adjective, a verb, or another adverb. Take a look at these examples: Here’s an example: I entered the room quietly. Quietly is describing how you entered (verb) the room. Prepositions Prepositions tell you the relationship between the other words in a sentence.  Here’s an example: I left my bike leaning against the garage. In this sentence, against is the preposition because it tells us where I left my bike.  FRIENDS AND ACADEMICS Having a good friend affects a child’s school performance, too. Children tend to have better attitudes about school and learning when they have their good friends there.

All learners or students need to be treated equal in schools. According to the Education Act 16 (2001) of the Namibian constitution states that all learners needs to be treated fairly regardless of their sex,age and race and their background  Teachers or educators needs to know the difference between equity and equality.  Equality  -is all about treating people the same regardless of status, rights and opportunities.  Equity  -is about treating people fairly and customizing that treatment to what they might need. Equity is understanding that all students come from different backgrounds and should be treated fairly based on those differences. This idea can be best seen in cases of students in special education and the mainstream classroom. Educators should be able to adapt their lessons to all different learning styles and provide differentiation strategies. Because of the diverse needs of students, it is the job of the teacher to focus on equity above equality. ...

 Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance.  In schools, teacher's, Principals,HODs etc. needs to pay attention to students when it comes to bullying. Teacher's need to practice active listening which allows them  convey that their classroom is a safe place, but also model behavior that is accepting and kind. This provides students with a positive example of how to treat others or potentially handle difficult situations if they arise. They also need to teach their learners about empathy, which is the ability to put  themselves in someone else’s shoes, and teachers need to embed this skill into their curriculum  Teacher's should also empower their students to break the cycle of bullying. One of the most effective ways to prevent bullying in schools is to empower students to break the cycle by teaching them ways to confront bullying behavior.

 Lesson Learned Every Day A lesson is learned every day, The one I learned was just today. I learned that others can’t be pressed, To do or act as I feel best. I've learned that people are their own, And only I can change the known. If I don't like how something is, Changing me is all there is. So next time you come across this issue, Don't get mad and grab a tissue. Change the way that you react, And that will have a positive impact.  As an educator it's your responsibility to make sure that all your students understand a certain content in your class. It's also your responsibility to find ways on how to help such students improve their academic performances. Here are some different ways that every Educator needs to try using in order to help their students: Harsness their interests If you really know your students, you’ll be able to relate topics to their interests or experiences, making the topic much more interesting (and thereby extending their motivation). Help them find self-motivation It’s all well and good for you to motivate your students, but they need to find their own reasons for actively learning and consistently putting in the work. Use your knowledge of your students and their personal lives to help them find a strong motivation for performing well. If you start 10 days before and study ½ hour a day that is 5 hours of preparations 3.Create summaries of your study sessions 4.Have specific goals for each study session  Keeps you focused. 5.Organize your study materials before you start the session  Helps with distractions. 6.Create your own study materials-Advance organizers, quizzes, mnemonic devices, etc. 7.Use Technology Quizlet, Youtube, publisher’s practice questions, Khan Academy, etc. 9.Take advantage of Campus Resources  Tutors, Writing Center, Professors, CAP Specialists, other students. 7.Eat Healthy Not too much and not too little. 8.Rest Consistent rest helps the brain to preform . 9.Good habits create successful people!
